Dubbed “the Oscars of the Web” by Vanity Fair, the awards, broadcast exclusively through YouTube, recognize excellence in online video in more than forty-five different categories.
The 11th edition of the Streamy Awards has been split into three distinct sections, each representing a distinct set of categories with a common theme: the Streamy Awards, the Streamys Social Good Awards and the Streamys Brand Awards.
The Streamy Awards recognize online creators and their work, the Streamys Social Good Awards honor individuals and organizations who use online video and social media to amplify their message, drive engagement and increase participation to make an impact Bigger and More Meaningful, and the Streamys Brand Awards spotlight the brand’s advertising innovation, the creative people behind it, and the new wave of celebrities helping brands get their message across.
The nominees and winners of the Streamy Awards are determined by an independent adjudicating body made up of creators, executives and other experts in the online video industry.
