Celtic shopping away from ‘some markets’ frequented by SPFL rivals

The duo moved to Scotland from the A-League and their shared nationality caught the eye of fellow countryman Celtic.

Postecoglou believe they are growing, showing there is talent outside of “certain markets” that Scottish clubs tend to seek.

He explained, “I look everywhere, mate. I don’t watch a market.

“Here they seem to focus on certain markets, but I know talent can be found all over the world, including Australia.

“Asian football is something I know and love a lot. Not just Japan, but other nations.

“As far as Australia is concerned, I have better knowledge and information. The Hearts guys are doing well and it’s great to see them develop.”
