Here, we sit down with Whack to talk about her new take on, her favorite monochrome beauty look, and the bold style that puts her at ease.
What puts you in a good mood?
When I do what I love, like making music. Or even helping people, most of the time it brings me more joy than when I’m doing something for myself. There’s just something about putting a smile on other people’s faces that does it for me. I can’t put the feeling into words.
What prompted you to get into music and share your voice?
Music became an outlet for me very early in my life. I saw it as a creative way of expressing myself. I had trouble speaking when I was younger, but rapping and rhyming words made it easier for me to convey my emotions.
What was the inspiration behind your new song, “Walk the Beat� What kind of message do you want to share with your listeners?
I’ve always wanted to create a song that people could play as they get dressed and get ready to fly. I attended a few fashion shows and loved the atmosphere, but didn’t feel like I had a song that matched that scene. It’s been a goal of mine for a while now to create a song that captures the essence of it.
You like electric and daring styles when it comes to beauty, fashion and music. Have you always created your own rules when it comes to fashion and beauty?
I always did what seemed best to me. My mom used to dress me in vivid colors and patterns, so I kind of stuck with this style. I like to stand out!

Why did you want to be a part of the Elven Campaign and how do you think it fits your musical style and career?
I have always promoted self-esteem. It’s always a good mood, and the elf is all about it. It was just that we get together and do something magical.
How do fashion and beauty play a role in the creation of your music?
When I spit fire rhymes, I wear fly outfits and I’m all glamorous. I feel good and I am Whack!
Do you have a beauty look or outfit that instantly puts you in a good mood or makes you feel the most confident?
I love adding elf Cosmetics Big Mood mascara to my upper and lower lashes. It instantly makes me soar. Also when my makeup artist adds a red product to my eyebrows to match my hair. I feel so cool. But then I could be in my house chilling out and chilling out watching a documentary and feeling like my most authentic self.
Can you explain your skin care routine to me?
At the moment I am using the delicious cleansing and toning gel for the face, as well as rose water and a little moisturizing gel. I never leave the house without putting on sunscreen. Now I recognize how important it is to wear an SPF every day. And I have to remove my makeup every night. I love using Bioderma; this is the easiest way to remove everything.
