TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Decorating and design enthusiasts can now enjoy all the discounted perks of a HomeGoods run without leaving their home.

With so many other companies focused on making online shopping easier and faster, HomeGoods and other TJX Ross and Burlington stores are known to do the opposite – ditching e-commerce for a ‘hunt’ style experience. to the treasure ”.

Now, the retailer is hoping an online presence will only grow the business with the launch of HomeGoods.com.

“We are excited to expand HomeGoods’ digital footprint so that customers can shop whenever they want,” TJX Digital US President Mark DeOliveira said in a press release. “HomeGoods.com will provide a complementary experience to our stores, allowing shoppers to combine in-store purchases with online finds to bring their vision to life,” said DeOliveira.

What remains to be seen, however, is whether customers in 2021 will generously embrace the shipping policy, which is a bit more expensive than what people are used to with Amazon Prime.

HomeGoods.com offers free shipping, but only if you spend $ 119 or more. Failure to meet this threshold will result in a shipping charge of $ 14.99.

The new online presence, however, appears to be receiving a warm welcome on Twitter so far:

HomeGoods says buyers can return qualifying items for free to any of over 820 HomeGoods stores in the United States or return them by mail for a fee of $ 14.99.

The store said it plans to continue developing its products online after the initial launch.
