PLEASANTON, CA – Help feed 800 hungry families in Pleasanton and beyond this holiday season by contributing to the sixth annual Mony Nop Turkey Drop.

Frozen turkeys, gift cards and cash can be dropped off at the Thanksgiving and Christmas fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 21 in front of Livermore Town Hall at 1052 S. Livermore Ave.

Customers at Livermore’s Grocery Outlet at 1320 Railroad Ave. can visit the store in November to donate cash or a gift card to the store. Frozen turkeys can be purchased in advance.

Donations will benefit Tri-Valley Haven, which serves residents of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore in need. The organization has run out of turkeys in recent years, so the Mony Nop Turkey Drop donation campaign was born, according to a press release from Tri-Valley Haven.

“This fun event is a little way everyone can give back to the community while on vacation,” said local real estate agent Mony Nop.

All donations are appreciated.
